Qualifications
- Be a
citizen of the United States
- Be at
least nineteen (19) years of age
- Be a
high school graduate or its equivalent (College
Preferred)
- Possess
a valid Florida drivers license
- Be in
good physical condition
- Have
no felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions
involving perjury, or have received a
dishonorable or undesirable discharge from any of
the armed forces of the United States.
- Be of
good moral character as determined by reasonable
investigative procedures.
- Be
Florida Certified in Law Enforcement.

Board
- Background
investigation
- Physical
examination to include drug screen
- Psychological
examination
Training
- After
you are hired you will undergo a twelve (12)
week Field Training Program before you are
assigned as a solo unit.
